I’m Mary Hollan, the Director of WOW. About ten years ago, some women at a small Methodist church came together to create a group for women to explore their spiritual journey. I’ve had to tweak this section quite a bit because I’ve realized that the most important thing is being open to new ideas and learning from them. But I still believe in my original point: “Find a place where you’re taught how to believe, not what to believe.” That’s exactly what we’re aiming for.

WOW” delves into the emotional, spiritual, and societal challenges faced by women, offering guidance on how to navigate these issues within our cultural context, drawing upon the teachings of Jesus.
Each retreat also supports a non-profit organization that has come to our attention. This initiative has resulted in many women continuing to support the non-profit that resonates with them.

With a community of over 70 women and a leadership board of four, our objective is to mentor women on their personal faith journeys and cultivate spiritual growth within a supportive community.
We offer retreats, luncheons, and Zoom discussions throughout the year. We consistently create new opportunities each year.
